After PARTY is SET..........

This shit is gonna be AMAZING! I nailed down all the details today..... Matt from Reggie's has agreed to host a BLOW OUT....

Trust me when I tell you this is the RIGHT place.......... I mean, how can it be anything else with a mural of Samhain/ Danzig and one of Motorhead on the same wall? How can a bar with a Bad Brains take-off for a bar t-shirt be bad? It can't...... this is the perfect punk rock bar with a great parking lot.... and you know the best part? It's not on the main drag where every asshole who drops his bike trying to be cool will get the cops out stopping everyone (if you went last year you get the reference)........

So, the plan is we roll into Wilmington around 4 and the party starts at 5.... There is gonna be a bike and car show with a FREE swap (free to sell).... there is gonna be a $5 cover (gotta pay the bills) to get in and more live music and drink specials than you can shake a stick at............ This is where all the awards and a lot of prizes are gonna be given out.... this will be the END of the run........

As time get's closer I'll post a line-up of bands but TRUST me you will not be disappointed.

I will also post up a list of hotels/ motels close by so you can sort out your arrangements for the night.....

As always, if you have any questions let me know - tim@deathscience.com

Later.

Bring on the booty!

So the raffle donations have started coming in from our sponsors, and the first one is reason enough to buy as many raffle tickets as you can afford! Fred, at Fulton Paint Works, in Richmond Virginia, hooked it up with a sick custom painted tank! The pictures do not do it any justice...I promise you, the winner of this tank will probably be the happiest dude on the run! Fred really killed it on this one! Thanks Fred!

I'm on a BOAT.........

So, here's the deal.... the key to this run are the ferry rides....... IF YOU MISS THE FERRY YOU MISS THE RUN.

Spaces are going fast... last year we had a total of 82 riders... this year, with over 2 months left till the run we ALREADY have 52 people signed up. We are planning on renting out an ENTIRE ferry giving us 100 spaces.... anything over that will be first-come-first-serve.... meaning, we will DO OUR BEST to get you sorted out but there will be a limit to what we can do....

What am I getting at?

If you are planning on going or even thinking of going - SIGN UP! If you don't get a slot you may be ass out.... we don't want anyone to miss out.... the sooner you sign up the better chance we have of getting everyone on the boats........

As usual, if you have any questions hit me up - tim@deathscience.com

Thanks!

Here we GO......

All the DETAILS........

Revenge Run II - Itinerary

The Route

Last year was a blast, so we decided not to change too much in terms of the route. Again, the run will officially begin at the intersection of Highway 95 and Route 64 in Rocky Mount, NC at the Highway Diner. We will be starting registration at 7 AM and LEAVING at 9 AM sharp on Friday, April 22nd. We will provide maps for everyone (they will also include a list of notable stops as well as contact info and restaurants).

From there we will take the scenic Route 64 through the low country over to the Outer Banks and into Nags Head, and then we head down to Hatteras to catch the ferry over to Ocracoke Island. The ferry to Ocracoke leaves every half hour and is free.

We are going to shoot to be at the Hot Tuna restaurant for lunch around 2 PM. From there it is only about a half hour ride to the Hatteras Ferry over to Ocracoke.

Once we get to Ocracoke we are heading inland a few miles to the State Camp Ground. If you went last year you will know why this is the place to camp on the island – perfect beaches and nice facilities. This year, we should make it to the island in time to have a few hours before the sun goes down – just enough time to get some food and buy some beers for the night. Then it’s time for a bon fire and some relaxing.

That night we will begin a bon fire at dark where we will act as stupid as is legal in North Carolina and give out a load of raffle prizes. Let’s just say that last year included some drunken half-naked limbo and nearly destroying the Federally protected dunes with one of the chase trucks…good times.

The next morning we will make our way across via ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island. The ferry ride is AMAZING. It is about two hours long but seems like 30 minutes.

When we hit land we will head into historic Beaufort and down through Emerald Isle ending in a night of debauchery in Wilmington. We will be following Highway 70 to Highway 24 and then onto Highway 17 into Wilmington. In Wilmington we are heading to Reggie’s Bar located at ????? for the AFTER-PARTY. The festivities will begin at 4:00 PM.

The total trip is 383 miles total. The ride is 212 miles first day and 171 the second. Not too long and not too short.

Here’s a map of the route -

The AFTER-PARTY will be a car and bike show with a free swap starting at 4 PM. Then around 7 PM the bands will go on. There will be a small cover-charge to pay the bands but believe me you’ll get your money back from the drink special. At the after-party we will be giving out the last of the swag. If you miss the after-party you will miss the raffle and prizes. And believe us, you do not want to miss the raffle and prizes. We will give you the complete details of the after party in the next few days but for now, rest assured that it’s gonna be even better than last year!

Cost and Registration

The cost of the run this year is $20 per person. It costs to catch the ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island, it costs to camp and it costs to have chase vehicles along for the ride. We are putting on the run for fun and not for profit. If there is any extra money from registration fees it will be used to pay for beer and therapy! Hahahaha…

To go on the run you MUST have BOTH a camp site and a spot on the ferry RESERVED. That is why we are asking EVERYONE who is attending to register to go. Registration is going to cost $20. Registration has ALREADY STARTED and will last until March 31st. From March 31st to April 10th you will still be able to register but the cost is going to go up to $24.

With the cost of registration we are going to give every person one FREE raffle ticket. The raffle is going to be nuts. Just wait till you guys see the amazing shit we are going to be raffling off! If you have doubts, just look at the piles of shit posted from last year.

Ocracoke is remote. That is what makes it RAD. The ferry over from Hatteras is free and runs every half-hour. The ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island, however is not free and runs only a few times a day. How remote? There is no cell-phone service on the Island, for example. If you don’t have a ticket for the ferry there’s a pretty good chance you will not be able to take the ferry from Ocracoke to Cedar Island with us. That leaves you either waiting to take a later ferry (maybe the next day) or taking a ferry to another destination which will add 7 hours to your trip to Wilmington. Trust us – you want to catch the ferry with us. This is not to intimidate anyone, this is to let you know how awesome this trip is, and how important it is to register. Where else do you get to go to an island where Black Beard once ran the show and go on a two-hour open-sea ferry ride with your bike?

It’s $20… the cost of a pizza and a beer. If you think you are gonna go, then you need to register. Although, we want everyone to understand, once you register there is no refund. The cost of the ferry ticket and camp-site reservation are non-refundable to us and thus, non-refundable to you. You are welcome to sell your spot to someone else if you’d like.

Revenge Run Goods

People were stoked on the run merchandise we sold last year so we are gonna sell run merchandise this year again. We are gonna sell t-shirts and a limited run of Revenge Run buttons, patches and stickers. We have already set up BOUNTY PACKS in the store. In the Bounty Pack you get a run Patch, Pin, T-shirt and stickers as well as the Run Tickets and raffle ticket. The buttons, stickers and patches are going to be REALLY LIMITED and not for sale by themselves.

Take Note!

We are going to have at least two chase trucks. They will have some gas for emergencies, but just know that there are stretches where there is not a gas station for a little over 30 miles. So, plan accordingly. The chase trucks will also have basic tools and the ability to carry a couple bikes each, just in case.

One thing we will ensure everyone – you will have clear directions and you will not be left. This run is all-for-one and one-for-all style, just like last year. We started with 82 and ended with 82.

If you are coming in from out of town and are planning on arriving on Thursday, here are some ideas for places to stay that are CLOSE to the start… Check these out.

Last but not least, we want to thank our SPONSORS again! Without them this run would not be happening. When you see the swag they are donating to the cause it’s going to blow your mind!
